Before R², Omar worked as a trader at Deutsche and led the integration of the new institutional stock exchange (BIVA). Previously, he ran the Cross-Listings & Investor Services area for VEMEX and developed relationships with asset managers, institutional investors, mutual funds, family offices and brokers. At VEMEX, he handled all inquiries for new listings, negotiations, corporate actions and securities compensation; as well as marketing with universities, members of the financial sector, and others.

Currently  he is in the Wealth & Asset Management Modernization Program at Scotiabank.

Omar holds a BBA with a specialization in finance from Universidad Panamericana.
